Contacts

The Smartnumbers Mobile app allows users to access their personal and business contacts directly in the Smartnumbers Mobile app. In order to do so the user must grant the app permission to access contacts on their device. These contacts are only imported to the Smartnumbers Mobile app and remain on the device and in the user’s control. At no point does Smartnumbers use these contacts outside of the Smartnumbers Mobile app or share the data with any third party.

Locations

The Smartnumbers Mobile app allows users to determine where their calls are delivered, ensuring they are received on the most convenient device (e.g. if there is poor mobile coverage at home, divert calls to the house phone). Locations are set in the ‘locations’ menu of the app and will only ever be numbers that the user chooses to add.

Smartnumbers Mobile and the underlying Smartnumbers platform infrastructure have access to the location numbers set by the user so that calls can be delivered to the appropriate location.

We will hold data only for as long as is set out in any relevant contract with us for the service you are using.
